Current Heart Throb...

Sole Society!

Meet Sole Society,
This is an online shoe service where after taking a style quiz, you become a member of a society that takes care of your shoe needs! They have their own stylist that suggest styles to you depending on the results of your style quiz.  Every month is a new bunch of shoes to choose from. The awesome thing is that all shoes are $49.95.  I chose Talitha as my first purchase and I love them, they are versatile, trendy but I will also be able to wear them for seasons to come. deff a good buy :)

Outfit For The Day; Interview Ready

This is the outfit that I wore for my first interview with bank of america in down town LA.  An olive green blazer with a tucked in white button down shirt and black bell bottomed slacks.  As my shoes I brought out my sole society shoes that I got online (I'm writing that post next) and used a belt to give myself some shape.  Not too shabby if I do say so myself.
1. I am pretty proud of this outfit, I integrated different textures and cuts but still made it work.
2. This outfit is complete, there is nothing that I think it needs.
3. Next time I might put my hair up, it got in the way of the jacket a bit :)

Outfit For The Day: Casual Friday Chic

As you all may know, I work in an environment where I have to dress in a certain appropriate way.  Sometimes I get tired of the dressy pants so I turn to freeing and feminine dresses!  (plus I get to show off my awesome legs hehe) What I did here is simply add a blazer over a striped cinched at the waist dress to add some layers. As my accessory I wore a short silver necklace that had different lengths in the chain, and at the end each had a turquoise bead at the end that added a hint of color. cute!  While I was at work I had tan strapped wedges that added length to me (lord knows I need it)

1. Pretty proud of this outfit, it enhanced one of my best features.
2. As far as if I wished there was another piece that could have made this outfit better I think not! I liked the simplicity of each piece and how when put together easily made an adorable outfit.
3. And lastly, if I will dress it differently? Of course! these are staple pieces that can be placed with many a different of things :)

ciao bellas.

Outfit For The Day : Accidental Hobo Chic?

Today I went to the beach with MyMahci<3 her younger brother and my younger sister.  Thinking that it would be nice and sunny, I chose to only wear the flower patterned dress that I recently showed you guys, sandles, adorable statement hot pink glitter earrings and my black rainbow flip flops. NOT GOOD.  We get there and its over cast and sort of windy with the sun trying to peek through the blanket of clouds.  SO long story short, alex had an overnight bag in his trunk (I had his car for the day) and I was so cold that I did this. . . boyfriend plaid shirt + flower patterned dress = emergency cuteness!
the mixture of feminine with a touch of masculine is what I find makes it work, the contrasting patterns seem to fit together. So, here are my ratings.
On a scale of 1-10 I think this outfit is a 6.  It could have been improved with my hair for one thing ha. and two I wish I had some flat black criss cross sandals.  Next time if I choose to do this look again (Alex wont miss his shirt. hee) I'll put on maybe a light tan dress and find some black thong sandals (they're somewhere in my closet)
