soooo. hey. a lot has happened since my last post.  One: I moved out of my mother's house, (I know right?!) Two: I started school again and Three: I got my fingers smashed (most recent) given it's my left hand but hot damn, you don't realize how important one of your  limbs is until you can't use it! BUT this is my current heart throb. . .

Glamour September Issue

I Absolutely LOVE this picture of the beautiful Victoria Beckham.  She looks youthful, playful and humorous.  It's dazzling and immediately drew me to the magazine.  Not only is the cover inviting, the content was interesting and relevant. It is a "all about fashion" issue, and who better then an ultimate consumer/designer herself.  I enjoyed this issue very much.

Black Fringe Dress

Yes theres many pictures but I LOVE these boots!  I have been wanting to wear this dress and figured that it didn't need an occasion.  It was a "digging through the closet for an hour and having put together six outfits before choosing the one" kind of day.  Excuse my girly mess in the background.  Its an organized mess and that's how I like it! How do you solve your style stumps?

My Birthday Outfit!

Well, this is similar to what I wore on my 21st birthday.  Let me tell you, it was certainly a 21st.  Let's not talk about it.  I loved the mixture of metallics and color.  My turquoise necklace has always been my go to piece of jewelry.  I recently got some gold flats at H&M and wanted to try them out the same day (talk about impatient) I'm making plans to go to Vegas next month, hopefully they follow through!

Polka-dot trend

Hello everyone!
Just sharing one of my favorite outfits with you. I bought these shorts at Target recently, and absolutely love them. I paired them with a denim button up shirt and belted my waist with a thin tan belt for effect. As shown I wore some H&M flats bought a while ago but looked lovely along with the belt. To add some color, I wore bright pink round earrings to add a pop (and show off my favorite hue). Let me know what you think!

How to wear Colored Denim

Hello Lovelies, 

I decided to do a post on colored denim since we are in Spring and entering Summer.  The way I have worn it in a former post is with a basic black shirt cut in a fun way.  This time however, I used my favorite boat neck striped shirt for a different look.  The pants are a baby blue almost turquoise.  My shirt consists of navy blue wide stripes.  I paired them both to combine both shades of blue because I figured it'd make a cute combination.  I think I was right!  I wore tan sandals with colored stones for embellishment, I like the stones because it adds more colors to the outfit.  A silver necklace completes my look, I felt the top was too bare without anything there.  The trick to colored denim is to not fear the different variety of colors that they come in.  Think of the pants as any other piece.  Currently, there is no taboo color in bottoms! Have fun with it, hopefully it rolls over into the fall season.  I'll let you know of course. This picture is taken in my grandfathers garden in Laguna Niguel.  Would LOVE to have comments!   

Creeper Dude

What's the first thing you see as you sit to drink your coffee before your morning class? A creepy dude making a face because you respectfully placed your scarf above your legs to avoid his peeks. Not cool. Furthermore, he decides to start asking you questions in hopes that you give him your number. Has he SEEN my boyfriend? No? Well he should cause he doesn't compare.

Quick outfit post!

Had about ten minutes to get ready, have you ever thought of how cute your outfits come out when your rushed?

I have! Of course not always but theres a pretty good chance.  I wore a tan button down mermaid shirt (bought at heavenly couture) with orange shorts (bought at H&M).  For shoes I wore some leopard wedges that added a pattern to the solidity of both colors on the top.  Two huge forever21 rings and a some cute pictures later, I have this post.  Currently working on my tan however, how about you?

Black Maxi Skirt

Was in a comfortable casual mood this day, and decided to wear my flowey black maxi skirt that I bought at H&M months ago ($10). I paired it with a basic white V-neck and a button down denim top bought from Target last spring ($19). My favorite gold necklace was added to add an accessory and detail. Lastly my black sandals that I purchased from a boutique on 2nd street in Long Beach CA. A very simple outfit that works even though most elements are basic. Love. I find myself constantly leaning toward my denim button down. I'm not one to be opposed to using a piece two times in one week. (so high school) It's a great piece to mix fabrics and add versatility to your outfit.  What are your views to the revival of the different denim pieces?

Mexican Inspired Shirt

As you can see, I was feeling the color blue for the day.  Please excuse the broom, had just finished sweeping. (hehe)  Saw this black shirt and just HAD to have it.  Too cute to pass up.  I look really pale (maybe because I am) I've been trying to make time to sun it!  Anyway, I really love this look, I felt cute.  My boyfriend was adorably stunned to silence, but well, I'm used to that ;)

White Classic Shirt

Hello Ladies! (and any gentlemen)

Currently wearing nude lace shorts, white button down shirt, black booties and a colorful spring necklace that my grandmother generously bought me.  I realize now looking at the pictures that they are poor, so I am thinking of purchasing a good camera. (any suggestions let me know)

I bought the shorts and was undecided as to how I wanted to style them.  I didn't know if I wanted to either wear them with something simple, or put on a neon top, which I will eventually do, and have the them be accented that way.  As I was reaching for my favorite pink shirt, my eyes fell onto the necklace that my grandmother had bought me a while ago and remembered how I have not wore it.  (I know!) and figured that this was a time good as any other.  I added the thin black belt so my waist would not be lost in all the neutrals.  Lastly, black booties are an obsession of mine ever since I discovered Christian Louboutin in eighth grade, I don't know why that is what I got from his website but there you go.  Also, you might notice that there is a video at the end of this post.  Enjoy!!

Being More Productive.

These days I have not had too much inspiration for anything.  I realized however, maybe I should go out and get it.  YouTube came to my school the other day and expressed the opportunities that are available by adding a short and sweet video!  Going to try it.  Nervous. YAY! I'm guessing it will be easier for you all to know exactly what I am talking about, which is a plus.

Bonjour mons amies!

Was just out and about with the love today. Recently got this shirt at H&M which I LOVE. The navy stripes just thrill me. Paired with light wash ankle skinnies and of course my bakers lace up sandals. The next thing on my list? Some tan leather wear everyday sandals! I saw some steve madden ones that interest me at nordstroms.
But I want to make sure before I spend the 100 bucks. School is going awesome. I am SO happy.

Registration Day!

So, yesterday on the 21st of March I went to my school to register for classes and I am just SO excited! yay me! What does one wear on one of their first days to school as an official student? In my opinion nothing extremely over the top because it still is what it is, a school but it is always important to me to try to be on trend. The trend that I chose was neon<3 And of course the color was pink hehe. I love how the two main pieces I focused on worked so well. I chose the pastel kimono to tone down the neon but the neon ended up also playing up the pastel. Love! As I have confessed I am obsessed with white (I have about five pairs of white jeans) so I chose to wear it for good luck :D nude flats from target (20 bucks!) finished my ensemble with a baby pink cuff. One of my faves.

Once again working this green vintage vest! Used it to tone down a dress for work, and wore my awesome and comfortable cathy jean heels. Love them. Currently looking for nude T-strap heels...any ideas?

Obsession with white

I LOVE white denim, shorts, purses...you get the idea. Another color that makes me look more tan. And since I barely have color, it is something that I take advantage of. I will be rocking this color all through the warm weather. On another note, spotted a neon necklace that I will possibly be adding to my collection. Got some cute neon pink studs from forever21. Will i go all the way and get some neon heels?! Hmm...
